Chuck Skydives for Gudang Garam TV Commercial

Chuck Skydives for Gudang Garam TV Commercial

In late 2009 I worked with director, Mark Toia of Zoom Film TV to perform the skydiving & snow running stunts for this Gudang Garam TV commercial. A great team of people came together at The Remarkables ski field in Queenstown to shoot the ad.  Johnny from Heliworks did the jump flying in an E model Hughes 500, taking myself & camera flyer Lottie Blair to 14 000 feet to jump into my snowy landing zone in the Doolans Basin at a height of 5500 feet.

Shane McConkey Memorial Skydive Squaw Valley Chuck Berry & Miles Daisher

Shane McConkey Memorial

I traveled to Squaw Valley, California in April to attend the Memorial Service of our good friend Shane. In the style that Shane lived his life, Miles Daisher & I arrived by parachute on a beautiful, blue, crisp, spring afternoon. To be in the sky above Squaw with Miles & the Sprit of Shane was special.

Becks Beer TV Commercial Wingsuit Skydiving

Now, wingsuit skydiving for the Becks Beer ad campain was totally incredible. The job description was to jump from one heilcopter, fly my wingsuit close by a ground based camera crew, then fly close to the ridges on the front face of the Remarkables Range, right in front of the camera halecipter hovering further down the hill. Fantastic, this is the stuff I live for. I got the most amazing visuals, flying my body down through the terrain.
